Glacier 3000: Swiss have vision and imagination
How many people in the world can access a glacier in less than 2 hours? Switzerland offers these perks to its citizens with its gift of nature, beautiful snow capped mountains, and of course, with it the glaciers.
There is only one suspension bridge in the world that links two mountain peaks: the Peak Walk by Tissot. It’s located at Glacier 3000, the new adventure in Switzerland.
The Peak Walk by Tissot is the ultimate glacier adventure: it links the lower summit (View Point) with the main summit 5 metres higher (Scex Rouge) and takes all visitors to the heights. The bridge, which is 107 metres long and 80 centimetres wide, offers a breathtaking view of the Alps: the Matterhorn, Mont Blanc, Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau are the best-known visible peaks, attracting amazed gazes that fade into the distance.
The country and its tourism needs to be commended for theit vision and imagination. You have two peaks. You connect that with a suspension bridge. You put these massive cable cars to take people up there. You have a wonderful restaurant there that serves amazing food options for people who prefer taste and for people who prefer health. A steady winter economy for the villages around with new employment, lot of tourists and lot of skiers.
So many countries have so many peaks and valleys. But they don’t know how to create something out of nothing. Swiss has plenty of vision and imagination.
